China’s first copper indium gallium selenium demonstration building puts into operation

Country Garden Huizhou Bihu Technology Innovation Town BIPV Technology Demonstration Project is a component of the National Energy Group's general research project “Application of CIGS Solar Thin Film Power Generation Technology in the Integration of Photovoltaic Buildings” undertaken by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. The project achieved the unified design, construction, and acceptance of CIGS-BIPV for the first time in China, and adopted a number of technologies such as photovoltaic solar thermal integrated utilization technology, photovoltaic curtain wall quick assembly technology, big data, and cloud platforms to allow buildings to be powered by energy. Using a new generation of CIGS-BIPV products. The project uses CIGS-BIPV products independently researched and developed by National Energy Group. It is safe, beautiful, durable, and has high power generation. It is a new type of green building wall material, realizing the height of CIGS photovoltaic technology and building art. Integration, and can effectively provide renewable energy for buildings, greatly improving building quality.

Thermal efficiency building photovoltaic technology. The demonstration building innovatively developed a ventilated photovoltaic wall. The photovoltaic curtain wall and the inner wall form a vertical closed cavity, which not only solves the problem of fire prevention between layers of the building, but also reduces the temperature of photovoltaic modules and improves the efficiency of power generation. Ventilation louvers and cavity heat extraction systems are designed at the bottom and top of the curtain wall, and combined with air source heat pumps, the hot air in the cavity is collected and extracted to provide domestic hot water, which realizes the comprehensive utilization of thermal efficiency.

Quick assembly technology for photovoltaic curtain wall. The photovoltaic curtain wall integrated system adopts an innovatively designed frame curtain wall system and dry-hanging construction technology. It has a high degree of assembly, fast construction speed, and reliable safety performance. It has withstood the test of “Mangosteen” 14th typhoon and no damage was found.
