High-end alumina for electronic ceramic IC substrate
On October 16, 2003, China`s first manned spacecraft, Shenzhou V, was successfully launched.
Alumina for electronic ceramic substrates developed by HNTM was successfully applied to the transmitter chip and flew into space with the first astronaut Yang Liwei.
Two years later, HNTM products were successfully applied to the Shenzhou-6 spacecraft.
In 2009, HNTM and CH, the largest manufacturer of CRT color TV picture tubes in China, jointly developed special alumina for color TV picture tubes. At that time, the special alumina needed for CRT color TV picture tube screen cone sealing was exclusively supplied by Japan Alumina Technology Company.
After the efforts of the R&D teams of both parties, a qualified aluminum oxide for sealing cone of color TV picture tube was finally produced. The cost is only 1/4 of that imported from Japan, and the product performance is even better.
After more than 1 year of production process verification and improvement.
In 2011, the special alumina produced by HNTM successfully replaced imported products.

In 2016, in response to the national new energy development strategy, HNTM’s R&D team successfully developed alumina for lithium battery separators
Alumina for ceramic separators is mainly used in lithium-ion battery separators. Previously, the Chinese market has been occupied by imported products. Now, alumina for HNTM ceramic diaphragm is gradually occupying the market, and now it has occupied nearly 50% of China’s market share.
