On October 26, ZGSY Acrylic Technology Group announced that the company officially produced a new product of ultra-high shrinkage acrylic staple fiber. This is China's first batch of self-developed ultra-high shrinkage acrylic fiber products, filling the technological gap in China.
Shrinkage rate is the main quality indicator to measure high shrinkage products. The shrinkage rate is more than 30% for ultra-high shrinkage acrylic fiber, which has stronger three-dimensional effect and bulkiness, and is mainly used to produce high-end woolen fabrics.
In the face of the increasingly severe acrylic fiber market, ZGSY has conducted in-depth research and learned that ultra-high shrinkage acrylic fiber has a bright future, but Chinese acrylic fiber enterprises have not yet been able to produce. In August of this year, ZGSY established an ultra-high shrinkage acrylic fiber project team and designed many sets of technical solutions to achieve a shrinkage rate of more than 30%. After continuous technological breakthroughs, the shrinkage rate of ultra-high shrinkage acrylic fiber produced by ZGSY has reached more than 40%.
Currently, ZGSY is developing other ultra-high shrinkage products to meet different market needs.
