Alumina continuous fiber is a continuous fiber made of alumina (melting point 2050) as the main component. It has the characteristics of high surface activity, large elastic modulus, and strong resistance to chemical erosion. Its monofilament has extremely high tensile strength and good It can be used as a reinforcing material to be applied to large components of fiber-reinforced composite materials. It is an internationally recognized main material for the new generation of high-temperature-resistant hot-end components. It is used in aerospace engines, semiconductor sintering furnaces, and special-shaped large structures. Burning racks and other manufacturing fields have a broad market.

The research and development of alumina continuous fiber spans more than ten multi-disciplines such as textiles and chemistry. The technical threshold is high, and the mass production process equipment is also very difficult. Prior to this, various countries have independently researched and developed. Only the United States and Japan have successfully developed and adopted Strict technical blockade. China's R&D started late, and the supply of materials has always been restricted by the United States and Japan. SHRR successfully realized the commercial production of domestic alumina continuous fiber this time, marking that 15 years of scientific research has gone out of the laboratory, and the "international monopoly era" of this material has finally ended.

According to the person in charge of the company, the SHRR production line has created an overall industrial chain from high alumina reinforced composite material colloid and prepreg production, fiber production, fabric production, structural parts production, and shape testing. The quality is completely in line with international industry benchmarks, all process equipment is self-developed, core equipment and raw materials have been fully localized, and they have completely independent intellectual property rights. "After the project is completed, it will have a very important strategic significance. It will not only meet the needs of the defense industry, but also have a lot to do in the civilian field, especially in the production of lithium batteries."

The SHRR production line is expected to achieve an annual output of 300 tons. In the future, we plan to cooperate with key downstream enterprises in the industrial chain at home and abroad, and strive to complete the industrial transformation of alumina continuous fiber within three years, and provide high-temperature and high-strength composite material special-shaped large structural parts for the upgrading of high-end equipment.
