The purified cephalosporin needs to be lysed into 7-ACA before subsequent cephalosporin preparations can be produced. XALX's scientific research personnel cooperated with Joincare Corporation to develop the enzymatic pyrolysis process. The two parties built China's first enzymatic pyrolysis 7-ACA industrial production line. Compared with the traditional chemical pyrolysis method, the energy saving and emission reduction effect is significant, and it has become a production process in the pharmaceutical field. An important milestone in the technological revolution has achieved industrial upgrading.

By 2018, China's cephalosporin production has accounted for 75% of the world's production.
