High thermal conductivity silicon nitride ceramic substrate

The product is 177.8mm (7 inches) long, 127mm (5 inches) wide, and 0.238mm thick. It has high strength, high thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, low expansion, and good chemical stability. The heat rate is up to 60-120 W/(m·℃), it is the third generation ceramic heat sink after alumina and aluminum nitride. It is used for electric vehicles, high-speed rail, and high-power transmission equipment. This material is China's "key" material in the IGBT field.

In 2013, ZCDH began to invest in research and development efforts in the research and development of silicon nitride high thermal conductivity substrates, and took the lead in China to overcome the technical barriers of 60, 90, and 120W/(m·℃), breaking the global monopoly of Japanese companies. Jointly use domestic silicon nitride substrates with CRRC and China Electric to manufacture IGBTs for electric vehicles and high-speed rail.

The diameter ranges from 0.8 mm to 101.4 mm, with high strength, light density, low expansion, self-lubricating, insulating, and non-magnetic characteristics, exceeding the performance indicators of ISO and ASTM standard I. The same fatigue failure mode as steel balls can ensure the reliable use of high-speed, high-precision, and long-life bearings, which can exceed 600,000 revolutions per minute. Used for precision machine tool spindles, high-speed bearings for electric spindles, aerospace engines, transmission system bearings, insulated bearings for wind turbines, bearings for large medical equipment, robots and dental drills, automotive engine bearings and fuel injector valve balls.

In 2015, ZCDH Ceramic Materials Technology Group broke through the mass production technology of hot isostatic pressing silicon nitride ceramic balls, becoming the third after CoorsTek of the United States and Toshiba of Japan.
