Dr. Hou, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and researcher of the Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the company's CTO.
Dr. Hou won the 2021 Chinese Academy of Sciences Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award. Previously, he also won the first world "Corrosion Achievement Award" issued by the United Nations World Corrosion Organization (WCO), which is the only one he has won in the world.
It has the experimental base of the National Marine Corrosion Protection Engineering Technology Research Center approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
The company's main business is the research and development and promotion of new marine corrosion protection technologies; the production and sales of new materials and the construction of anti-corrosion projects; cathodic protection monitoring technology, etc.

The product performance meets the requirements of the national standard GB/T32119-2015, and has a qualified test report from the China Metrology Certification Authority (CMA).
At present, PTC has been used in Qingdao Port Liquid Chemical Terminal for nearly 15 years. In addition, the technology can effectively resist sea ice collisions. The technology has also withstood the test in the coal terminal of Dandong Huaneng Power Plant where the freezing period lasts for 5 months in winter, and it has been successfully applied for 8 years.
Today, PTC has achieved the applicability of all latitudes in China, and has been applied in nearly 50 major national projects such as Dalian Beiliang Port Terminal, Shanghai Yangshan Deepwater Port LNG Terminal, and Hangzhou Bay Bridge.
Subsequently, the company developed oxidative polymerization coating anti-corrosion technology (OTC), flexible reinforced concrete coating technology (FCC), etc., which filled the technological gap in China and realized industrialization.
These achievements have been successfully applied in more than 110 major projects, creating huge economic and social benefits.
