On May 30th, the Hay Think team was at the production site of HNAC CSP Technology Group. On the 600-meter-long automated production line, blocks of transparent photothermal glass moved slowly. From smart cutting to automatic unloading and packaging, the entire process was only 5 minutes.
This kind of photothermal glass has a thickness of 2 to 4 mm, which not only has the ability to resist wind and sand abrasion, but also has an ultra-high sunlight transmittance.
"Photothermal glass is a new type of material used to collect solar thermal energy. Continuous power generation can be achieved through a giant mirror field. At present, we are the only manufacturer of photothermal glass in China. This production line was put into operation in April this year, based on the original production line. , We have upgraded the production process and product structure. Compared with before retiring to the park, the production efficiency has increased by 15%, and the energy consumption has been reduced by 20%." HNAC General Manager Han Guangjun introduced.
Since 2017, HNAC has vigorously promoted technological innovation, repeated sample melting experiments, and overcome key technical bottlenecks. It completely relied on its own strength to successfully develop 3mm and 4mm CSP ultra-white float glass substrates for solar thermal power generation. The spectral transmittance is more than 91%, and the main quality performance indicators such as elastic modulus, weather resistance, and Mohs hardness have reached the advanced level of the industry, filling the gap in China, and becoming the only two high-tech companies in the world that can produce photothermal glass.
