Since its establishment in 2014, NXTT has successively invested in the first and second phases of sapphire crystal growth projects, and successively produced 30 kg, 80 kg, 110 kg, 130 kg, 160 kg and 400 kg sapphire crystals. "On December 16, the company's CTO Chang Hui told Hay Think that the company currently has an annual production capacity of 1,500 tons and an average annual output value of about 220 million yuan in the past three years. This year's output value will increase by 12% year-on-year.
After the third phase of the project is completed and put into production, NXTT will add sapphire ingots and sapphire substrate products to completely open up the entire industry chain from front-end manufacturing to back-end processing. Chang Hui said that the sapphire substrate produced will be the beginning of another industry chain, which can be widely used in LED lighting devices with a wide range of applications and considerable benefits. "The larger the sapphire crystal produced, the lower the cost, and the higher the utilization rate of the crystal." From 160 kg to 400 kg, the utilization can be increased by 5% to 10%. NXTT has realized the customization and large-scale production of large-size crystals.
