On January 8, 2023, JSYB Metal Composite Technology Group, a leading aluminum matrix composite technology company in China, issued an announcement. The company undertook the key special project of the national key research and development plan “Advanced Structure and Composite Materials”, and recently obtained the Notice on the Key Special Project Initiation of the National Key Research and Development Plan “Advanced Structure and Composite Materials”, which was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.

 

The implementation period of the project is from November 2022 to October 2025. The total project expenditure is 46.25 million yuan, including 22.25 million yuan from the central government

 

Project objectives:

 

In view of the requirements of high performance metal structural materials for the space strong radiation environment and the harsh corrosive environment of oil and gas exploitation and transportation, research and develop the radiation resistant aluminum base composite and corrosion resistant bimetal composite seamless pipe, and study the interface structure and optimization design of the composite material, as well as the mechanism of radiation resistance and corrosion resistance.
