Last month, NORD planned to raise no more than 1.42 billion yuan, mainly with the investment in an annual output of 15,000 tons of high-performance ultra-thin lithium battery copper foil project. After completion, the total production capacity will reach 43,000 tons.

AHTG Copper Foil Technology Group aims at the development of 5G communications, researching high-frequency high-speed electronic copper foil products. At present, it has an annual production capacity of 45,000 tons of high-performance, high-precision electronic copper foil, ranking first in China and fourth in the world.

The company's 5G universal copper foil has been at the forefront of the country, RTF copper foil has achieved mass production, and the supply has reached 300 tons/month, and the supply will increase to 500 tons/month at the end of the year.

At present, the lithium battery copper foil market is dominated by 8μm. However, the thinner copper foil means less resistance, and the corresponding weight is also lighter. The battery energy density and other properties will also be improved, and the cost of copper foil raw materials will be effectively reduced. The use of thinner and thinner copper foils for lithium batteries is the general trend in the future.
