At 9 a.m. on September 25th, JLJL Precision Steel Plate Technology Group's cold-rolling mill No. 2 broke through the design limit of rolling specifications, and trial-rolled 0.16 mm ultra-thin cold-rolled steel sheets at one time. This steel plate is thinner than two pieces of A4 paper.
The thickness of cold-rolled steel produced by JLJL's 800,000-ton cold-rolling project put into operation last year is between 0.25-1.5 mm. The thinner the cold-rolled steel sheet, the more difficult it is to produce, the higher the product market price, and the broader the market space. The 0.16mm cold-rolled steel plate can be used in construction, electrical appliances, outdoor billboard production and other fields.
JLJL aims at the high-end steel market and pursues higher efficiency through technological innovation. In the process of new product development, JLJL benchmarked with international advanced cold-rolled thin-gauge steel production enterprises, organized technical staff training and technological innovation, and invited experts to guide on-site. After a large amount of data analysis and plan discussion in the early stage, JLJL designed the ultra-thin steel plate rolling process to achieve a successful trial rolling.
