On December 5, SDWH Chemical New Materials Division IATF16949: 2016 automotive quality management system certification ceremony was held in SDWH Chemical Yantai Industrial Park. Wanhua Chemical Vice President Chen Yifeng, British Standards Institute (BSI) China Marketing and Sales Director Quan Zhenjun, Li Qing, General Manager of Production Management Center, and Huang Qishan, General Manager of New Materials Division attended the meeting.
The scope of this certification covers the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) products and modified products of Wanhua Chemical New Materials Division, polycarbonate (PC) products and modified products. The certification content is the design, development and manufacturing of the above products .
IATF16949: 2016 is the latest quality management system standard for the international automotive industry, and its relevance and applicability are very clear: This specification applies only to auto OEMs and their direct parts manufacturers. These manufacturers must be directly related to the production of automobiles, be able to carry out processing and manufacturing activities, and use this activity to add value to their products. There are strict restrictions on the qualifications of certified companies and manufacturers.
