The ANi36 Invar alloy steel developed by the company has been commercialized. At present, 150 tons of slab rolled products of this variety have been produced for the Chinese aviation field, and the product quality and technical indicators meet the requirements of users.
ANi36 Invar steel is an iron-nickel alloy with a low coefficient of expansion, which can maintain a fixed length over a wide temperature range without changing its volume.
Because of this characteristic, Invar alloy steel molds are mainly used in aerospace, transmission cables in low temperature environments, base positioning devices for large electronic telescopes, etc., and also used in liquefied natural gas, liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen storage tanks in the ocean. Long-distance transportation on the surface, as well as structural elements in precision lasers and waveguides, carriers for optical measurement systems, etc.
LNAG is the third company in China to master the production technology of Invar alloy steel after ZGBG and HBGT Steel Technology Corporation.
