The former has relatively simple processes and equipment, but the process has high energy consumption and serious pollution; the chloride process titanium dioxide technology has complex processes and equipment, and high raw material requirements. The new technology extraction method titanium dioxide production technology is the third generation technology, which has the advantages of the previous two generations, and the comprehensive performance of the product is higher.

After more than 10 years of research and development and pilot tests, FJKC can meet or exceed the standards of international counterparts from titanium dichloride to titanium chloride, from titanium trichloride to iron oxide pigments. FJKC plans to produce 500,000 tons of titanium dioxide and 500,000 tons of iron oxide pigments annually, all of which will reach production in 2022.
