On February 4, the world's first 89mm diameter ultra-high-strength R6 marine mooring chain was loaded and shipped at JSYX Anchor Chain Technology Group Terminal. The batch of mooring chains will go to Zhoushan, Zhejiang, and be installed on the CM-SD1000 mid-deep water semi-submersible drilling platform independently developed by China. This is the first time that the R6 mooring chain has been industrialized.
The CM-SD1000 mid-deep water semi-submersible drilling platform was jointly developed by China Merchants Industrial Group and China Oilfield Services Co., Ltd. It is China`s first mid-deep water semi-submersible drilling platform.

The 12 R6 mooring chains with a length of 2250 meters and a total weight of about 4800 tons will ensure that the CM-SD1000 medium-deep water semi-submersible drilling platform can meet the needs of 300-1000 meters of medium-deep water operations in different sea areas around the world. JSYX's R6 mooring chain has been certified by China Classification Society and Det Norske Veritas.
