Fischer group became ITL’s first global accredited HFQ (Hot Form Quench) partner in December 2020,fischer has invested in a dedicated state-of-the-art high volume HFQ manufacturing line in Achern, Germany.
From January 2022, fischer has manufactured 10 different complex geometry high strength aluminium HFQ pressings for a premium EV sedan and these were displayed to much interest from OEM delegates.

HFQ technology is a lightweight manufacturing technology of aluminum alloy hot stamping forming with low cost, high efficiency, low investment and high performance.
It realizes lightweight and weight reduction through the integration of stamping parts and the use of high-strength aluminum alloy to reduce the thickness of parts. In view of the reduction of the number of molds and parts designed and manufactured, the total investment cost is reduced.
This technology can reduce the weight of components by 20% – 40%. At the same time, the formed stamping parts have no rebound, and the design of stamping parts and dies does not require consideration of rebound compensation, which greatly shortens the development cycle and enhances the repeatability and controllability of the dimensional accuracy of high-level products.
