On the morning of March 25, the Sihuan project, a new food grade PET polymer material with an annual output of 1.2 million tons, was officially put into production in the industrial park.
New food grade PET polymer material, chemically named polyethylene terephthalate, is the most widely used safe and environmentally friendly new packaging material in the world today. It can be used as beverage, edible oil, dairy products, daily necessities, etc. Packaging can also be used to manufacture industrial silk, as well as packaging for electronics, light industry, such as medical, cosmetics, etc. The domestic and foreign markets have huge room for development.
In 2018, ZJWK New Materials Company, as a leading domestic food-grade PET manufacturer, invested 3.6 billion yuan to build a 1.2 million-ton food-grade PET polymer new material project in the industrial park.

It can be applied in beverage & food package industries like drinking water, hot-filling, CSD, edible oil, wine and others like film, sheet, and industrial yarn.
