It was developed and produced in cooperation with HBSS Structural Composite Materials Corporation and JMC.
At the same time as the reputation of the SMC Pickup Bucket at the Shanghai Auto Show, HBSS announced on April 22 that the SMC Pickup Bucket has been successfully applied to the JMC Pickup domain tiger 3 SMC enhanced container model and the domain tiger 5 SMC enhanced container model.

Compared with traditional metal cargo boxes, SMC pickup buckets are lighter and have significant advantages in corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance, which greatly improves the user experience in harsh and highly corrosive conditions, while also improving pickup performance. . In addition, the SMC cargo container also has outstanding advantages such as more convenient molding, large design freedom, and more obvious comprehensive economic benefits. Perhaps in the future, SMC composites will become the first choice for lightweight domestic cars, and will be favored by many OEMs.
The company’s R & D team provided JMC with a package of solutions from raw material development, production process to product design. This innovative project uses SMC sheet-molded composite materials. The entire pickup bucket is integrally molded, which greatly reduces the product manufacturing cycle and the number of tooling molds.
In addition, in order to produce the patented SMC sheet, HBSS uses a fully automatic production line to precisely control the proportion of different raw materials such as high-strength resin and glass fiber. The produced SMC sheet is automatically cut and sent to the mold, and then vacuum-molded and cooled by a 4,300-ton press.
