Chinese company invests in ultra-high water and oxygen barrier functional film projects, which can be used in OLED displays, solar photovoltaic, OLED lighting and quantum dot films

The project is located in the urban-rural integration demonstration zone of Kaifeng. The total investment of the project is 80 million yuan. It is estimated that the annual output of 30 million square meters of ultra-high water and oxygen barrier functional film will be completed after construction. The project started on March 1, 2019, and the completion time is about December 1, 2019.

It is reported that the project products can be used in OLED display, solar photovoltaic, OLED lighting and quantum dot film industries. The process technology uses raw materials (PET optical film, inorganic sputtering target, etc.) to roll into the feed-roll to roll vacuum sputtering-roll out.

It is understood that the water and oxygen barrier film is composed of multiple barrier layers for blocking water and oxygen molecules and multiple absorption layers for structural decoupling and absorbing water and oxygen molecules. Inorganic thin film.

The barrier layer is at least one of a SiO2 film, a Si3N4 film, a SiON film, or an Al2O3 film. The absorbing layer is a metal oxide film or a nitride film having an amorphous structure, and can obtain excellent water and oxygen barrier properties at a relatively thin thickness.
