After less than a month after the launch of 100000 sets of high-pressure oil-cooled motor stator and rotor assemblies in the late September of 2022, ZJCY received another great news. On the afternoon of October 13, 2022, the signing ceremony of ZJCY&WY [GEELY drive motor manufacturer] strategic cooperation and the launch ceremony of multi-layer flat wire assemblies were held in ZJCY Group.
8 months to overcome technical barriers
It is understood that the project signed by ZJCY and WY this time involves two types of motor products, namely multi-layer flat wire stator assembly and rotor assembly, which are used as the core components of electric vehicle drive motor.
The product design scheme adopts the most advanced three-in-one power assembly, and the motor size is more compact. The stator slot adopts the world's leading eight-layer hairpin stator winding technology flat wire design scheme. The sectional area of copper wire in the stator slot increases from 40% to 70%, which can significantly enhance the magnetic field, equivalent to an increase of 20% – 30% power on the basis of traditional round copper wire.

The new project was launched in February 2022. ZJCY R&D team and WY R&D team worked together to complete the independent development of the stator and rotor assembly production line in just 8 months.

The process of the products we cooperate with this time is complex. We originally expected to be offline in November, and the joint R&D team has advanced the offline speed by a full month.
At present, this product is used to carry the GEELY ZEEKR001 model. Next, it will carry ZEEKR 009 and more models.
