The company cooperates with Shanghai Jiaotong University Baotou Materials Research Institute and Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology School of Materials and Metallurgy to jointly develop new rare earth ceramic materials.
The company has an annual production line of 800 tons of colored rare earth zirconia powder; a demonstration production line of new rare earth ceramic thermal barrier coating materials with an annual output of 185 tons, and an annual output of 150 tons of new rare earth thermal barrier coating powder for plasma spraying (PS).
The company has jointly developed "rare earth ceramic thermal barrier coating" with Shanghai Jiaotong University Baotou Materials Research Institute and Beijing Aerospace Materials Research Institute. Rare earth ceramic thermal barrier coating is used on aircraft turbine engine blades, which can block the invasion of 1500 degrees high temperature for turbine blades, play an effective heat insulation role, and greatly increase the service life of turbine blades.
