SXHD Wear-resistant Material Technology Group was established in September 1997, a Sino-German joint venture. The company introduced bimetal composite casting technology and manganese bainite low alloy casting technology from German companies. The biggest advantage of bimetal is that it can have castings at the same time. High wear resistance and toughness can greatly increase the life of the product, and its HRC can reach more than 60. The biggest feature of bainite is: the overall hardness is high, and it can be cut and welded on site, suitable for low-impact or non-impact work. Under conditions, its HRC can reach 45-54.
The joint venture company adopts German bimetal composite casting technology and manganese bainite low alloy casting technology to produce wear-resistant and tough materials and components: such as bimetal hammers, various types of tooth plates, racks, tooth caps, and tooth discs , All kinds of special-shaped pipe fittings in coal washing plants, such as: elbows, central pipes, inner lining plates, and gangue sorting machine supporting slides.

Bimetal cast hammer
The company’s specialty product is bimetal cast. During its production two completely different metals are combined (processed) in one single casting process.
The distinguishing feature of this method is the substance-to-substance bond of a ductile base material with an extremely hard wear material, the bond between the materials meeting highest demands.
It is possible, for instance, to use an impact-resistant, heat-treated steel of high mechanical strength for the areas that are prone to fracture and an extremely hard chromium cast iron for the areas that are subject to heavy abrasion. This approach is advisable whenever different areas of a component are exposed to different kinds of stress. That way the selection of materials is optimised for the stresses present inside a given component.
