Hot melt film-laminated steel (aluminium) composite material is a kind of composite material which is composed of plastic film on TFS steel (Tin free steel )sheet by melting method. It is a steel deep-processing product and an internationally recognized safe, green and ideal environment-friendly packaging material. A new type of composite material was prepared by melting the modified polymer resin film with the surface of metal sheet through high temperature hot melting, high temperature, high pressure and quick cooling. The extended product has exquisite appearance, environmental protection, excellent content resistance and excellent food hygiene performance. Laminated steel can possess the dual characteristics of plastic film and metal plate by covering both sides of cold rolled sheet steel or TFS with multi-layer polyester composite film. Compared with the traditional packaging material tinplate, Laminated steel not only does not contain harmful substances, but also has environmenta l protection in its subsequent production process. Therefore, Laminated steel has been widely considered as the best substitute for tinplate in the packaging industry.
The development and application of hot melt laminated steel technology greatly avoids and reduces the use of harmful coatings such as epoxy resin in traditional production, reduces environmental pollution and energy consumption, and is a "green revolution" in metal packaging of food and beverage.
