Recently, SXXT Superhard Materials Technology Corporation released a new high-performance diamond wear-resistant pick.

SXXT combines coalbed methane into diamonds with high added value, and can produce four types of polycrystalline and single crystal diamonds: tool grade, heat sink grade, optical grade, electronic grade.

At the same time, depending on the extremely high hardness and excellent wear resistance of diamond, various tools, abrasives, drill bits, wire drawing dies, etc. can be prepared. Diamond wear-resistant pick is one of them.

The diamond wear-resistant pick developed by the company is a product that uses vacuum brazing technology, through the self-developed diamond cladding inlay furnace, reasonably configures the diamond cladding inlay solder, optimizes the diamond cladding inlay process, and conducts diamond coating welding on the worn end of the pick body. It has the characteristics of high hardness, strong wear resistance, and fire resistance, and has a good market prospect.

In the test stage of No. 1 Mine, the footage of construction in 32 days was 167 meters. Under the same conditions, 20 diamond wear-resistant picks and 47 312A picks imported from Germany BETEK are consumed. The results show that the consumption ratio of diamond wear-resistant pick and BETEK312A pick is 1 ∶ 2.35.

At the same time, the use of diamond wear-resistant pick can reduce the replacement time, improve production efficiency, and have better cost performance.

After all the rear drum picks of the shearer are replaced with diamond wear-resistant picks, the pick loss rate in the gangue cutting stage is significantly reduced.

As an important part of shearer and roadheader, the quality of pick directly determines the mining efficiency.

After the conventional pick is coated with diamond, the excellent properties of diamond, such as high hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, can be fully utilized to form a diamond particle cladding layer or diamond inlay on the surface of the easily worn parts of the pick, reducing wear during use, and the effective life can be extended by 1 to 2 times.
