The national key research and development program "Demonstration and Application of Key Technologies for Chemical Vapor Deposition Coating of Thin and Long Hole Parts", jointly undertaken by WHCL High Performance Coating Materials Technology Corporation and 8 universities and enterprises including China University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Dongfang Electric…
The aim is to overcome the surface coating preparation technology for hollow blades of aeroengines and heavy gas turbines.
In recent three years, the joint research and development team has accumulated more than 4000 times of process and performance tests, accumulated 30000 pieces of experimental data, and successfully developed a new material – multi-element composite aluminide coating that can withstand chloride ion corrosion at 1100 ℃.
The multi-element composite aluminide coating has broken through the manufacturing technology of the key components of the equipment, and coated the domestic engine and gas turbine blades with a protective coating with stronger performance, which can not only prolong their service life, but also improve the efficiency of the engine.
For more than 20 years, WHCL has successively developed and manufactured the first and second generation blade coating equipment. The multi-element composite aluminide coating made by using relevant technologies can improve the high-temperature corrosion resistance of blades by more than twice. "
Hollow blade is a key component of aeroengine and heavy gas turbine. It usually works at a high temperature above 1000 ℃, and the higher the temperature, the higher the efficiency of the engine.
