On June 10, the project of "Direct Forming Technology and Application of Aluminum Matrix Composites Large-Scale Components and Its Application" led by China leading SiC/silicon carbide particles reinforced aluminum matrix composites manufacturer and supplier HNWC High-Tech Materials Technology Company won the 2019 HN Provincial Technology First prize for invention award.
In response to the needs of national rail transportation for light weight and localization, HNWC has creatively solved major key technical problems such as the difficulty of uniform dispersion of silicon carbide and the difficulty of direct molding in the preparation of large and complex components of silicon carbide particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites. Developed key technology equipment and industrialized complete sets of technology for directly forming large-scale complex components of aluminum-based composite materials and successfully applied them in subway brake discs. The first domestic production line with an annual output of 5000 pieces of silicon carbide particle reinforced aluminum matrix composite brake discs was built. The project has completely independent intellectual property rights, 8 authorized invention patents, and 1 product standard.
