Chinese manufacturer of super large-diameter integral bearing forged ring assists [11.5m] super large diameter integral slewing bearing project Hay:T03SDYL

On November 3, 2021, China's first integral slewing bearing with a diameter of 11.5 meters was rolled off the LYZC Bearing Technology Corporation. The CTO of SDYL Heavy Industry Technology Corporation, the most powerful manufacturer of super-large diameter integral ring forgings in China, was invited to participate in the product release. Line ceremony.

In order to manufacture this super large bearing forging, in August 2020, LYZC and SDYL signed a strategic cooperation agreement. SDYL will provide the super large diameter integral bearing forging ring required for the bearing.

In recent years, with the rapid development of offshore wind turbine technology, the power of wind turbines has leapt from the age of 4-8 MW to the age of 10-15 MW. The weight of wind turbines has continued to increase, and the development of large-scale wind power installation marine cranes. Generally speaking, the larger the crane tonnage, the larger the diameter of the slewing ring required. Therefore, the current turntable diameter of 5-8 meters is difficult to meet the requirements of future offshore wind power hoisting.

The bearing will be installed on a 1,000-ton heavy-duty offshore wind power installation vessel. The ship is designed and manufactured by South China Shipbuilding, and the crane bearing is the "technical bottleneck" of the project. The roll-off of the 11.5-meter-diameter bearing is a model of a strong alliance between China's leading companies to jointly realize the localization of large-scale equipment, and is of great significance to the future development of China's offshore engineering.
