Chinese photovoltaic solar power module manufacturer supplies 17 MW DUOMAX M PLUS double glass single crystal PERC module to France’s first and Europe’s largest floating photovoltaic power plant

Trina Solar Co., Ltd. recently completed the delivery of the 17 MW DUOMAX M PLUS double-glass single-crystal PERC module to France's first and Europe's largest floating photovoltaic power plant.

The power station is located in Piorange, Vaucluse, southeastern France. It was developed by Akuo, a first-class French new energy company. When completed, it can guarantee the electricity consumption of 4,700 homes and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 11,000 tons per year.

The DUOMAX M PLUS module supplied by Trina Solar uses high-quality double-layer tempered glass to ensure high output power in the harsh environment of high humidity and high radiation. At the same time, Trina Solar's dual-glass modules have the characteristics of resistance to PID (potential induced attenuation), UV (ultraviolet) aging, resistance to cracking, resistance to degradation and corrosion, etc., which is an ideal choice for dealing with harsh environments.

Eric Scotto, President and Partner of Akuo Energy, said: "This power station is our company's first power supply project for local residents and the first floating power station in France. We are particularly cautious in selecting project partners. Trina Solar It is one of the first photovoltaic companies to enter the European market. Its products are efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly. We are very happy to work with such excellent companies as Trina Solar to work on the energy transition.

Gonzalo de la Vina, head of Trina Solar's module business in Europe, said: "The French market has very strict standards for module products, and we are honored to eventually become a partner of Akuo. I believe this project will be able to serve France and Europe in the future. The development of floating power stations provides important references. "
