July 30, 2020-One of the world's leading bus manufacturers, Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yutong Bus") and BASF jointly developed a polyurethane (PU) specially designed for high-end, new energy buses Seat. This seat is made of BASF’s Elastoflex® polyurethane, which has better flame-retardant properties and complies with the European Union’s ECE R118 uniform technical regulations on the combustion characteristics of automotive interior materials.

This foam upholstered seat made of Elastoflex® has excellent elasticity and can provide passengers with a more comfortable travel experience. Its low-odor characteristics also help to further improve the air quality in the car.

The durability of Elastoflex® polyurethane helps to prolong the service life of the seat, maintaining cushioning and comfort even with long-term load bearing; while the lightweight foam material improves the energy efficiency of the vehicle, thereby reducing emissions.
