Chinese polymer and metal 3D printing manufacturer joins hands with Airbus to launch civil aviation polymer additive manufacturing R & D project

On January 29, 2019, Farsoon Tech, an industrial 3D printing leader, and Airbus (Beijing) Engineering Technology Center Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement in Changsha. The two parties will cooperate to develop a new polymer 3D printing solution for the civil aviation field. . This marks the first time that Airbus has cooperated with a Chinese company in the research and development of polymer additive manufacturing.

With this cooperation, Airbus and Huashu will share resources and jointly develop new polymer additive manufacturing solutions for civil aviation through the Huashu Hi-Tech open source platform. Adhering to the open source concept of "Open for industry", Huashu High-Tech will work with Airbus to continuously innovate in the industrial field, develop and optimize new material process parameters, and Airbus will verify the performance of printing products according to civil aviation requirements. Based on the unique advantages of Huashu Hi-tech equipment and open source materials, the in-depth and extensive cooperation between the two parties will accelerate the industrialization of additive manufacturing technology and new aviation materials in the aviation manufacturing field.

Dr. Xu Xiaoshu said that we are very pleased to start scientific research cooperation with the industry-leading aviation manufacturer Airbus. As an industrial-grade 3D printing leader, Huashu Hi-Tech has accumulated nearly 10 years of technology and is promoting additive manufacturing from prototype design to true industrial manufacturing. Additive manufacturing technology is increasingly used in the aviation manufacturing industry. This time Huashu Hi-Tech and Airbus joined forces to launch innovative cooperation in the field of aviation additive manufacturing to meet the huge demand of the civil aviation market.

General Manager Cheng Long stated that this is the first time that Airbus has conducted cooperative R & D with Chinese companies in the field of polymer additive manufacturing. Airbus has always paid attention to the development of additive manufacturing technology, and we are impressed by Huashu's innovation capabilities and industrial focus. Airbus not only seeks the performance development of new materials, we also pay more attention to the industrialization needs of additive manufacturing, including industrial process development, production costs, industrial capacity and efficiency. Airbus and Huashu are highly consistent in their industrialization goals. We look forward to the results of this research and development and believe that the two parties will cooperate more in the future.
