On June 24, 2020, BASF and SHZM Polyurethane Materials Technology Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop polyurethane building insulation composite panels for cold storage construction in the Chinese cold chain industry.
According to the agreement, BASF will be responsible for information support, technical exchange and market development, and SHZM will designate BASF as the polyurethane supplier for the project. At the same time, both parties will also jointly develop the market to promote polyurethane insulation composite panels.
BASF Elastopir® is the core material of thermal insulation composite board, which is safe and energy-saving, because it does not need to use bromine in the production process, only a small amount of flame retardant, providing customers with a better sustainable development solution.
