Monolithic Fire-resistant glass (MFB):

Monolithic fire-resistant glass (MFB) is a "deep tempered" glass made by deep processing of ordinary sodium-calcium-silicon float glass as a raw material. Its surface compressive stress is much higher than that of ordinary tempered glass, generally above 150 MPa, while the surface compressive stress of ordinary tempered glass of the same thickness is between 90-110 MPa.

Monolithic fire-resistant glass has only fire-resistant integrity, and is not insulated or protected from heat radiation. It belongs to Class C fire-resistant glass.

Composite fire glass (CFB):

Composite fire-resistant glass (CFB) is usually compounded between two or more pieces of glass with a high-transparency fire-resistant thermal insulation adhesive. In the event of fire, the fireproof adhesive begins to expand into a foam-like thermal insulation layer, which can prevent flame spread and heat transfer.

Composite fire-resistant glass has functions such as fire-resistant integrity, heat insulation, and heat radiation protection, and belongs to Class A fire-resistant glass.

Note: Fire-resistant integrity refers to the ability of fire-resistant glass to prevent fire penetration or flames from appearing on the fire-resistant surface for a certain period of time when one side of the fire-resistant glass is exposed to fire under standard fire test conditions. According to the standard, the single-piece fire-resistant glass is divided into grade I (≥90min), grade II (≥60min), grade III (≥45min), and grade IV (≥30min) according to the complete fire resistance performance. SYP single-piece fire-resistant glass has a fire resistance rating of Class C Class I, that is: fire resistance integrity ≥90min.
