On October 15, the installation of No. 1 module Sun Island, a national CSP demonstration project, Zhengjiashawo 50,000 kW CSP project in Yumen, Gansu, was basically completed. The heat accumulator is the core component used in this project. It is constructed of TGJT's high temperature resistant stainless steel material, breaking the import dependency.
According to reports, the heat accumulator needs to operate uninterrupted for 20 years at 590 ° C. The choice of materials is extremely demanding. It must not only be resistant to salt corrosion, but also resistant to high temperatures for a long time. It has been dependent on imports for many years. After knowing the project situation, TGJT Group actively cooperated with well-known domestic design institutes to organize special research on stainless steel composition, high-temperature strength, welding performance and other technical processes for special project conditions, and finally broke foreign technical blockades and succeeded. Developed stricter than standard high temperature stainless steel products, met the requirements of design institutes and users, and realized product supply.
