In 2019, the domestic output of alkaline dry batteries will reach 120 billion. The battery shell steel is not only used in general household batteries, but also in new energy electric vehicle batteries. After receiving the topic, NBGT Group quickly organized the R & D team to develop, but the entire development process was not easy.
"The formula of battery shell steel is actually not difficult, and many domestic steel mills know it. However, battery shells require more than 10 processes from steelmaking to punching into shells. The process control requirements are quite high and difficult. It is not easy to process the battery shell steel required by the process. Before our research and development, there are also peers that are much larger than Ning Steel and have organized research and development, but the effect is not ideal. "Hu Wenhao said.
In order to produce battery steel that can replace imported batteries, Ninggang has gone through many difficulties. A coil of 2.5 mm thick, 20 tons of battery shell steel hot-rolled steel coil, cold-rolled to a 0.25 mm thick steel strip, but it can not be allowed to have a sand hole or hole thinner than the hair. Ninggang effectively removes impurities and controls trachoma through various technical means such as improving the purity of molten steel and vacuum smelting.
