On May 6, 2023, China's leading optoelectronic technology company, ZJSJ, released a notice stating that the company has recently received notifications from Jaguar Land Rover Limited for the third and fourth generation of multiple W-HUD and AR-HUD models on the global next-generation EMA electrification platform.
According to the designated notification agreement, the company will develop and provide third and fourth generation W-HUD and AR-HUD products for multiple vehicle models on the platform. From 2025 to 2029, ZJSJ will provide HUD products to Jaguar Land Rover and its affiliated company Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jaguar Land Rover (China)") annually based on the buyer's order requirements, The estimated sales amount within the product lifecycle is approximately 600 million RMB, and the actual amount is subject to specific orders.
The third and fourth generation W-HUD and AR-HUD fixed-point bidding of the EMA platform has attracted the participation of many world-class HUD Tier 1 suppliers;
During this process, ZJSJ demonstrated its advantages in HUD optics and system design, especially in the application of computer-generated holography technology, and ultimately won the bidding.
This marks the first time that the Chinese HUD industry has received recognition from overseas mainstream vehicle brands, and ZJSJ has become the first Chinese HUD Tier1 supplier to enter the overseas mainstream market, laying a solid foundation for further exploring overseas markets and continuing to compete with international automotive electronics Tier1 suppliers on the same platform.
