Clariant announces the opening of a new polypropylene catalyst production facility in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. The new company developed by Clariant Louisville in cooperation with CB & I becomes the largest catalyst production center in the United States.
PP catalyst equipment combines sales, technical service, research and development, technical center and test center to further enhance the catalyst equipment mainly produced in North America. The production of innovative catalysts will help the global polypropylene industry to more effectively establish a complete polypropylene resin production chain.
In recent years, Clariant has expanded the sales market in North America, with sales increasing from $ 939 million in 2011 to $ 11.20 in 2015.
