HNLM Group Co., Ltd. is the world's leading titanium dioxide producer. Since 2015, it has been producing chlorinated titanium dioxide products. In February 2018, HNLM Group announced that it will add a second chlorination process titanium dioxide production line with an annual output of 300,000 tons. The production line started production at the beginning of this year.
PPG Group will purchase chlorinated titanium dioxide products from HNLM Group's second production line for use in coating production around the world. The quality of HNLM Group's new production line meets or exceeds PPG Group's Claim.

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is an important raw material and has been widely used as a pigment by coating giant PPG Group and other paint and coating manufacturers to provide product characteristics in terms of hiding power, durability and whiteness.
As early as November 27, 2018, PPG Group announced a contract with HNLM to expand the supply of titanium dioxide products. According to the agreement, HNLM will supply more existing products including chlorination and sulfuric acid titanium dioxide to PPG. At the same time, PPG also promised to purchase additional HNLM chlorinated titanium dioxide under construction, which was released in early 2019.
This purchase agreement can be regarded as the fulfillment of the original PPG Group's commitment to HNLM.
As early as 2012, PPG Group signed a cooperation agreement with HNLM at that time-PPG Group provided the latter with the chlorination method technology to help it establish a chlorination method titanium dioxide production base. After this, the two sides have maintained good and stable cooperation.
HNLM Group introduced titanium dioxide production technology in 1988. After more than 30 years of development, it has now formed six major production bases in four provinces, five places. In 2018, the production and sales of titanium dioxide exceeded 600,000 tons.
