The project team of "High-performance low-alloy corrosion-resistant steel series development and application of complete sets of technologies" has established a cooperative research project with BJGT Steel Technology Group, NJGT Steel Technology Group and LNGT Special Steel Materials Group after more than ten years of industry-university-research cooperative research. The complete set of anti-corrosion control theory promotes the development of a series of high-performance low-alloy corrosion-resistant steels; invented the corrosion life evaluation technology based on big data technology, which shortened the research and development time by 50% and played an international leading role; developed a series of corrosion-resistant steels And supporting technologies are applied in key domestic and foreign projects such as the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics facilities, the Guanting Reservoir Bridge, the China-Malaysia Friendship Bridge, etc., filling the domestic gap and playing a leading role in the international arena. It has realized the upgrading of China's low-alloy corrosion-resistant steel, demonstration and industrialization of major projects, and has made important contributions to the high-quality development of China's steel industry and international cooperation.
The corrosion-resistant steel products developed by the project have the largest domestic market share, of which marine corrosion-resistant steel and coating-free bridge steel have a market share of more than 95%. In the past three years, the accumulated sales amounted to 12.27 million tons and the total revenue was 43.5 billion yuan, laying the foundation for Beijing to become a national corrosion science data center and a high-precision corrosion-resistant new material research and development center.
