On September 20th, the CEO, Technical President and General Manager of China of CW Bimetal of the United States visited YTFX Bimetal Technology Group. The two parties exchanged in-depth views on the application status of copper-aluminum composite materials in the Chinese and American markets, and reached a preliminary intention to cooperate in the development of the American market, including the recent business cooperation and the future industrialization layout in the Americas, and decided to jointly participate in the 19th American Electric Show .
CW is a pioneer and leader in the global bimetallic composite conductor industry. It has formulated ASTM standards for bimetallic conductor materials (wires) such as copper-clad steel and copper-clad aluminum.
CW CEO Craig York agrees with YTFX’s technology of using horizontal continuous casting process to realize the metallurgical bonding of copper and aluminum atoms, and said that the ASTM standard for copper-aluminum composite busbars for electrical engineering developed by YTFX has improved product safety and promoted the standardized development of the industry. The two parties can in-depth cooperation in product research and development, market development and standard formulation, and jointly promote the development of the bimetal industry.
