On May 21, XASR Advanced Materials Technology Group, a leading manufacturer of medium and high voltage electrical contact materials in China, issued an announcement:
XASR will invest in a new production base of 20,000 tons of chromium-zirconium-copper alloy materials and copper-iron materials. Among them, copper-iron alloy materials are XASR’s key research and development materials since 2019, and have passed the verification of top international customers such as LG and HAKKO.
XASR focuses on medium and high voltage electrical contact materials (copper-chromium electric vacuum contact materials-single champion products announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, copper-tungsten series contact materials and composite contact materials), high-performance metal chromium powder, medical imaging components, R&D and manufacturing of high-performance copper alloy materials and products such as high-strength and high-conductivity copper alloys and other special copper alloy materials.
The products are used in the target market of high-end application fields such as power electronics, rail transit, aerospace, medical imaging, etc. The products have been awarded the title of single champion product in the manufacturing industry recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. Fortune 500 companies such as Bombardier,Siemens,GE,Alstom,ABB, Eaton,Schneider and other global Fortune 500 companies have established good cooperative relations.
Currently, XASR has more than 100 invention patents. The strong science and innovation attributes helped it win the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award issued by the State Council, undertook the national 863 key research and development plan, and the company’s scientific research and innovation capabilities are outstanding.
