Core materials of hydrogen fuel cell: Gas diffusion layer, platinum carbon catalyst / platinum alloy catalyst are commercialized in China Hay:N01SHJP

There are three core materials for hydrogen fuel cells: catalysts, gas diffusion layers, and proton exchange membranes. This time SHJP New Energy Technology achieved mass production of two of these materials in one fell swoop, and the domestic upstream and downstream industrial chains will benefit from it, which will benefit the future development of hydrogen fueled vehicles.

On August 16, SHJP New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. held a commissioning ceremony and delivered new products, which marked the first time that domestic companies broke the international monopoly of key core materials for hydrogen fuel cells and catalysts and gas diffusion layers to achieve independent mass production.

SHJP New Energy stated that it is currently the first company in China to be able to mass produce catalysts and gas diffusion layers. The first-stage production capacity will reach an annual output of 1500 kg of catalysts and an annual output of 100,000 square meters of gas diffusion layers,Platinum carbon catalyst and platinum alloy catalyst products, the company can exceed 500 million yuan in annual output value after production.

In addition, SHJP New Energy has established a joint laboratory with China's top universities.

At present, only European and Japanese companies in the world can mass produce platinum alloy catalysts.
