Alliance Introduction
With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the China Automotive Lightweight Non-metallic Materials Industry Alliance was jointly established by the China Synthetic Resin Supply and Marketing Association and the China Automobile Industry Association.
The alliance consists of dozens of founding members, including material manufacturers, vehicle and component manufacturers, and research institutions. Covestro is one of only two foreign-funded companies among the founding members. The members will jointly promote the application of innovative non-metal materials in the automotive industry.
Introduction of China Synthetic Resin Supply and Marketing Association
In 1998, China Engineering Plastics Industry Association was announced. In 2011, the China Engineering Plastics Industry Association and the China Chemical Supply and Marketing Association merged and reorganized to establish the China Synthetic Resin Supply and Marketing Association, which has more than 10 professional branches such as polyolefins and epoxy resins, and has more than 400 member units related to the upstream and downstream industries.
Today, the association has been established for 20 years and still adheres to scientific and technological innovation to promote green, environmental protection and sustainable development. Help China's engineering plastics achieve leap-forward development from small to large and big to strong.
