Creep-resistant aluminum alloy core power cable developed by China’s leading submarine cable manufacturer won the prize Hay:F04JSZT

Recently, six new technologies and products developed by JSZT Submarine Cable Technology Group, a leading manufacturer of submarine cables in China, won the awards issued by the China Electricity Council.

The five new technologies and products developed by the company, including cable accessories with rated voltage of 38/66kV (Um=72.5kV), high stability and salt fog resistance for sea/land cables, 110 kV conductor composite optical fiber power cable system with rated voltage, high performance steel core medium-strength aluminum alloy stranded wire and ice melting miniaturization automatic wiring device, have reached the international leading level;

A new product of creep resistant aluminum alloy core power cable has reached the international advanced level.

In view of the technical difficulties in long-distance optical fiber sensing monitoring and accurate identification of various external damage events, JSZT has developed a comprehensive monitoring equipment and system for submarine cables, which can realize large-scale passive monitoring of submarine cable operating temperature, dynamic current carrying capacity, submarine disasters, etc., and improve the intelligent level of three-dimensional comprehensive monitoring of the marine environment.

With the acceleration of the construction of new power systems with new energy as the main body, higher requirements are put forward for cable stability.

The composite optical fiber temperature measuring power cable system with rated voltage of 110kV conductor and creep resistant aluminum alloy core power cable developed by JSZT can monitor the temperature online and in real time, ensuring that the cable transmission capacity can be maximized and the operating cost can be reduced without exceeding the allowable operating temperature;

The high-performance steel-cored medium-strength aluminum alloy stranded wire and ice melting miniaturized automatic wiring device developed by the company are mainly used in extreme icing areas, which can improve the safety and stability of transmission line operation in icing areas, and fully guarantee the smooth power supply channel.
