In addition, BASF also provides Elastopor insulation materials that can be used in refrigerated containers and truck trailers in the cold chain industry to ensure an excellent storage temperature for the entire food value chain from farm to retailer. Because of the excellent thermal insulation properties of BASF's Elastopir insulation material, it can save up to 95% of the energy in the cold storage, which is very energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and it can also reduce food waste to a low level.
