Dow and stretch film manufacturer Doxa Plast have collaborated to provide renewable stretch films. It is understood that this new series of Doxa Plast stretch film called "Reborn" is made of bio-based linear low-density polyethylene and ELITE 5230GC R reinforced polyethylene resin.
The thickness of the Doxa Plast stretched film is less than 4 microns, but it is said to provide "a high level of performance to improve the stability of the loading tray". It can also reduce the total amount of packaging materials used.
Currently, Doxa Plast produces these films at its Swedish plant. Dora Plast stated that this bio-based stretch film was developed to meet the growing market demand for sustainable solutions.
