DuPont introduces glass and carbon fiber reinforced 3D printing filaments: ZYTEL®3D12G30FL BK309 wire and ZYTEL®3D10C20FL BK544 wire

DuPont recently launched new glass and carbon fiber reinforced 3D printing filaments—ZYTEL®3D12G30FL BK309 wire and ZYTEL®3D10C20FL BK544 wire!

The two new materials are comparable to existing reinforced injection molding and were developed to meet the industry's demand for harder and stronger materials.

DuPont said that both grades allow users to achieve greater design freedom, lighter weight, and shorten product development cycles, thereby enabling rapid prototyping and making the process of parts production, tool use, and product customization easier and more convenient. .

ZYTEL®3D12G30FL BK309 wire

It is a black thermally stable 30% glass fiber reinforced polyamide with a modulus of 4-5GPa, a heat distortion temperature (HDT) higher than 150 ° C, excellent surface quality, and resistance to common solvents and chemicals, such as in Resistant to most solvents, detergents, automotive liquids and fuels at room temperature, suitable for aerospace, automotive parts, industrial electrical parts and other fields.

ZYTEL®3D10C20FL BK544 wire

It is a black 20% carbon fiber reinforced polyamide with excellent surface quality and is suitable for lightweight parts. The modulus is 4-5GPa, the heat distortion temperature is greater than 150 degrees Celsius, and it is resistant to most solvents, detergents, automotive liquids and fuels at room temperature. This product is lighter and stronger, making it ideal for structural applications in the most demanding aerospace and automotive sectors.

Zytel® 3D1000FL NC010 wire

This product is a nylon wire for fused deposition type 3D printing, which maintains the toughness and fatigue resistance of pure nylon, and its mechanical strength and rigidity are greatly improved; it has good heat resistance, chemical resistance and Anti-hydrolysis performance, the thermal change temperature of some products can reach above 100 ° C; the shrinkage of printed products is small, low warpage, and the appearance is strong. DuPont Hytrel® Wire

This product is a thermoplastic elastomer wire for fused deposition 3D printing, suitable for various 3D printers. It has both rubber-like flexibility and the strength and processability of thermoplastic materials; it also has good toughness, resilience, bending fatigue resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance; it also has comparable finished product mechanics to injection molded products Performance, used to produce flexible functional parts, such as automotive shock-absorbing protective covers, flexible wearable electronic devices, sports shoe materials, etc.
