Since March, DuPont Security & Construction has announced investments for two consecutive months in its Kevlar® and Nomex® businesses to drive innovation and increase productivity.
On March 19, DuPont Security & Construction announced a $ 50 million investment in DuPont ™ Kevlar® branded fibers' global business, which includes ballistics, personal protection, various composite materials, and reinforcement applications. Commercialize the product in early 2019. Nomex® brand fiber is flame retardant and high temperature resistant. It is also the main material for the production of Nomex® insulation paper. The Nomex® filament project will help meet the market needs of automotive hoses, protective clothing, fire protection and aviation.
