Dutch Vabo Composites launches monocoque roof of large super yacht

Vabo Composites, headquartered in the Netherlands, specializes in the marine-focused composite material field. The entire team puts quality in the first place and is driven by enthusiasm, knowledge and innovation to prepare for the increasingly complex customer issues throughout the industry.

On the evening of October 8-9, the Vabo Composites staff team waved goodbye to a huge lightweight colossus (23×11×5m). After months of hard work and exquisite craftsmanship, the time has finally come: the largest single product to date has safely arrived in Amsterdam, and it will be "crowned" to a famous 77m superyacht. Vabo's permanent transport partner and neighbor, Van Wieren Transport, are again responsible for the transport of the structure.

By choosing a carbon composite structural specification, the Vabo team has been able to achieve a weight savings of more than 40% compared to aluminum. In this project, the huge hatch cover is only part of it. Vabo Composites is not only responsible for production, but also for engineering, calculation and project management. In addition, the staff of Vabo Composites will carry out the on-board installation.

With the cooperation of the courtyard, the first painting work has been carried out in Emmeloord. In view of the success of the project, sales and marketing manager Jeroen van Deutekom said that this is certainly not the last of its kind. Therefore, Vabo will continue to invest in its team, automation and production facilities in the near future. Interested customers can immediately inquire about turnkey solutions for all their composite structures and immediately benefit from Vabo's proven records and institutional knowledge.
