Ecoplexus starts 30MW solar project in North Carolina

On October 21, 2016, Ecoplexus (USA, California, San Francisco), a solar photovoltaic system developer, announced that it has begun construction of three ground-mounted photovoltaic projects in North Carolina.

Baker, Benthall Bridge and Turkey Creek Solar Park jointly invest $ 45 million.

These photovoltaic plants will be integrated into the Dominion North Carolina power grid to increase clean energy capacity.

The three power stations will be an important addition to electricity after Hurricane Matthew swept across the East Coast states on October 7 and 8.

Despite the hurricane's delay in construction, all three solar projects will be completed by the end of the year as planned.

Two of the power stations will be included in Ecoplexus' growing IPP assets. The third power station will be owned by a large US utility. Ecoplexus will provide continuous asset management, operation and maintenance services for all power stations.

These projects will provide 50 gigawatt hours of solar power per year, enough to power 5,200 homes.
